February 24-25 the DUNC project partners in Karlskrona are proud to welcome Mr Tony Watson from England for two meetings with local entrepreneurs in Karlskrona. Tony is currently Head of Commercial & Communications at Lake District National Park and Chairman in UNESCO’s English Lake District World Heritage Site Marketing Group.
Almost 1’500 products have been developed in the last couple of years out of the local assets in the English Lake District Area. Tony will talk about how companies can unite in product development work, how to cooperate and even market products outside of the local area. He will share his unique experiences and successes with local entrepreneurs aiming at their company to grow.
Tony has together with his team created tools for tourists, entrepreneurs, inhabitants and various public organisations that enables all to unite in one single mission, to make their World Heritage Site a better place to live, work and visit. The Monday meeting of the event will include a workshop about innovative processes in product development, and a common dinner in the evening.
DUNC believes that the meetings will contribute to more cooperation, inspiration and ideas among local entrepreneurs in Karlskrona regarding innovative product development connected to the World Heritage Site the Naval Port of Karlskrona.
